We are looking for a proactive and dynamic
Business Development Executive
who can manage the GeM Portal, generate new leads, and handle field activities. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, the ability to identify business opportunities, and confidently interact with clients both online and on-site.
Key ResponsibilitiesGeM Portal Management
Handle end-to-end operations of the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal.
Upload products, manage listings, update pricing, and maintain documentation.
Track tenders, bids, inquiries, and respond within timelines.
Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
Lead Generation & Business Growth
Identify potential clients through online research, networking, and field visits.
Generate qualified leads and convert them into business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Field Work & Client Interaction
Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations as required.
Understand customer requirements and offer suitable solutions.
Follow up on leads and ensure timely closure of deals.
Reporting & Coordination
Maintain proper documentation of leads, inquiries, and follow-ups.
Coordinate with internal departments for order execution.
Prepare daily/weekly sales reports.
Candidate Requirements
Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in business development.
Hands-on experience with GeM Portal (mandatory).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel for field visits.
Ability to work independently and meet targets.
