Position: Business Development Directors and Associates

Area of Expertise:

Creating and Developing New Business Opportunities with special focus on Livelihood | Skills | Water| Health| Environment| Human Resource etc.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

Post Graduate degree in Social Sciences/Graduation with preferable 5 years of liason experience of projects for community development livelihood and water and sanitation programs. Good writing & Communication skills with command over English and Hindi Language. Proficient in MS Office, Canva, AI etc.

? Roles and Key Responsibilities

1. Business Strategy & Growth

Create a strong database of new funding sources aligned with the organization's mission.

Build and maintain relationships with corporates, foundations, government bodies, and international agencies to increase further business prospects and growth avenues.

Research and identify new donors, CSR partners, government schemes, and grant opportunities.

2. Proposal Development & Fundraising

Engage with government departments for MoUs, approvals, and policy advocacy.

Experience with government portals like GeM, NGO DARPAN, etc.

Excellent proposal writing and donor engagement skills.

Strong understanding of social issues (education, health, livelihoods, etc.).

3. Partnerships & Alliances

Attend industry forums, CSR summits, and donor meets to represent the organization.

Develop partnerships for joint ventures or collaborative projects in the social sector. 4. Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination

Coordinate with internal teams (program, implementation, finance, M&E) for technical inputs in proposals.

Ensure projects are designed to meet donor expectations, scalability, social impact as well as profitability.
