Position Overview


Responsible for business development and tracking DPR/RFP/Clinet management for TN and Kerala. The role includes driving Govt and PSU business, analyzing new tenders, managing existing clients, overseeing ongoing and upcoming projects, and ensuring efficient budget management.

Broad Responsibilities

Business Development & Tender Management

Identify and assess upcoming opportunities and proactive engagement for new tenders in the power transmission and distribution sector. Evaluate technical and commercial feasibility of tenders for Govt and PSU projects. Develop strategic bidding approaches to enhance tender success. Build relationships with government & PSU agencies.

Project Management & Execution

Account management and work with Project Manager for revenue realisation, collection, coordination and review meetings with client

Oversee ongoing and upcoming EPC projects in the assigned regions. Ensure timely project execution, cost control, and quality management. Resolve project bottlenecks and manage risks proactively. Coordinate with site teams, procurement, and engineering divisions.

Budget & Financial Management

Develop and manage project budgets while ensuring cost efficiency. Track project financials, invoicing, and cash flow. Ensure timely collections and mitigate payment risks.

Team Leadership & Coordination

Report to regional business head and manage assign states with help of cross functional, central bidding and purchase team. Manage and review team with PM of project engineers, and site managers. Foster a performance-driven and customer-focused work culture. Align regional team goals with the organization's EPC business strategy.

Experience & Industry Preference

12-17 years of experience in EPC business development and project management. Strong experience in the power transmission and distribution sector Preference for candidates from Power EPC firms Or government project experience of any domain..

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of power distribution, substations, and transmission projects. Expertise in tendering, contract negotiation, and project execution. Strong relationship management skills with government and private clients. Financial acumen for budgeting and cost control. * Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
