Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and driven
Business Development Associate (BDA)
to join our fast-growing
EdTech
company. As a BDA, you will be the first point of contact for prospective learners and will play a key role in driving revenue by connecting students with the right learning solutions. This role demands excellent communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for education and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Reach out to potential students or parents via calls, emails, and messages to explain the benefits of our courses and programs.
Understand the educational needs of the prospect and recommend suitable learning paths or products.
Achieve weekly and monthly targets for leads conversion and revenue.
Schedule and conduct product demos, either one-on-one or in small groups.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through proactive outreach and follow-ups.
Collaborate with marketing to convert inbound leads and optimize lead quality.
Maintain records of customer interactions and sales progress using CRM tools.
Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to improve offerings and campaigns.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Education, Marketing, Business preferred).
0-2 years of experience in sales, inside sales, or business development (freshers with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and [local language, if applicable].
Strong persuasion and consultative selling skills.
Passionate about education, learning, and technology.
Ability to handle objections, follow up with leads, and close deals effectively.
Willingness to work in a target-driven environment, including occasional weekend work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in an EdTech or academic sales environment is a plus.
Familiarity with CRM software such as Zoho, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
