A Business Development Associate (BDA) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building client relationships, and contributing to the organization's overall growth. The role involves market research, sales outreach, client communication, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of business strategies.
Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify potential clients through market research, networking, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
Generate qualified leads through cold calls, emails, and outreach campaigns.
Maintain and update customer databases (CRM).
2. Client Relationship Management
Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and requirements.
Schedule meetings, demos, and presentations with senior sales or product teams.
Build long-term relationships to ensure repeat business.
3. Sales & Revenue Support
Assist in developing sales strategies to achieve business targets.
Follow up on leads, manage pipelines, and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
Help prepare sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
4. Market Research & Analysis
Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior.
Provide insights to support product or service improvements.
5. Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with the marketing, sales, and operations teams for campaign execution.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on leads, conversions, and progress.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Management, or a related field
(An MBA is preferred but not mandatory)
Experience
0-2 years for entry-level positions
Experience in sales, tele-calling, or business development preferred
