Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Development Associate with strong experience in sales, business development, and ecosystem engagement within investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or related fields. The role requires direct interaction with founders, early-stage companies, and growth-stage startups to identify fundraising mandates and high-quality deal flow.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage startups and early-stage companies seeking fundraising or strategic investment support.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of fundraising mandates and advisory opportunities.
Develop and manage relationships with founders, CXOs, and key ecosystem stakeholders.
Conduct market research across emerging sectors, business models, and ecosystem trends.
Support the design and execution of fundraising outreach strategies.
Represent the organization at networking events, investor forums, and startup platforms.
Maintain accurate BD dashboards, pipeline trackers, and mandate records.
Required Qualifications
1+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development within investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or related domains.
Experience engaging with startups or early-stage companies for partnerships or fundraising.
Experience identifying and sourcing startup deal flow or fundraising mandates.
Strong understanding of startup financing, equity structures, investor types, and fundraising models.
High ownership mindset with a target-driven approach.
Strong communication, networking, and relationship management skills.
