- Field Sales Executive Location: Mumbai / On-field
Salary Range: (Negotiable based on the experience and skills) Department: Sales / Business Development Role Summary The Field Sales Executive is responsible for visiting clients, generating new business, understanding customer requirements, presenting products, and ensuring consistent follow-ups to convert leads into orders. This role involves travel, relationship building, and strong coordination with the internal sales team. Key Responsibilities 1. Client Visits & Sales Meetings o Visit OEMs, manufacturers, distributors & prospects regularly. o Conduct sales presentations and explain product applications (FR4, G10, G11, GPO3, FRP, mica, pultrusions, etc.). o Understand customer requirements, take notes, and share with the sales/estimation team. 2. Lead Generation & Market Development o Identify potential customers in industries like Transformers, Motors, Switchgear, EV, Railways, Oil & Gas, Aerospace, etc. o Generate new enquiries through field visits, networking & references. o Create a strong sales pipeline. 3. Enquiry & Quotation Coordination o Collect RFQs from customers during visits. o Coordinate with Inside Sales & Estimation teams for costing and quotations. o Share quotations with clients and follow up until closure. 4. Relationship Building o Maintain strong relations with purchasing managers, engineers, and decision-makers. o Ensure customer satisfaction and retention. o Identify upselling & cross-selling opportunities. 5. Order & Delivery Follow-Up o Coordinate with production, purchase, dispatch, and accounts for order status. o Share updates with clients regarding delivery timelines, PI, payment, etc. 6. Reporting & Documentation o Maintain daily visit reports, call logs, and follow-up sheets. o Update CRM with client interactions, meeting notes, and sales progress. o Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports. 7. Market & Competitor Knowledge o Understand competitor pricing, product offerings, and market positioning. o Share insights with management for strategic decisions. Skills Required o Strong communication & negotiation skills. o Comfortable with frequent field visits & travel. o Ability to explain technical products clearly. o Good knowledge of MS Excel, CRM tools & Google Sheets. o Strong relationship-building & follow-up abilities. o Target-oriented mindset. Preferred Background o Experience in industrial/B2B field sales. o Experience dealing with OEMs & engineering companies. o Knowledge of electrical, composites, insulation materials (bonus). o Diploma/BE in Mechanical/Electrical (preferred but not mandatory). Personality Traits o Confident, energetic, and self-driven. o Strong ownership & responsibility. o Good presentation & communication skills.
