Role Summary:
As a
Business Development Associate
, you will be the face of company in the field -- responsible for generating leads, building client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will excel at in-person selling, cold calling, and managing territory sales.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify and approach prospective clients--dealers, contractors, B2B customers--via cold calls, referrals, and field visits.
Client Presentations & Face-to-Face Meetings:
Conduct persuasive sales pitch meetings and product demonstrations focused on industrial clients and buyers.
Negotiation & Deal Closure:
Propose competitive quotations, negotiate effectively, and close deals to meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
Relationship Building & Account Management:
Maintain strong engagement with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Market Feedback & Reporting:
Capture market intelligence on trends and competitor strategies. Deliver timely reports, including daily logs and sales forecasts.
Sales Strategy Collaboration:
Coordinate with back-office and sales teams to align field efforts with overall business objectives and stock availability.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
2 to 5 years
of proven experience in
Business Development
, preferably within e-commerce, industrial products, or B2B sectors.
Strong Communication & Presentation Skills:
Fluent in English and Hindi--confident storytelling and product articulation.
Self-Motivated & Target-Driven:
Proactive mindset, comfortable working independently with target accountability.
Tech-Enabled:
Proficiency in using CRM tools or mobile apps for sales tracking and lead management.
Mobility:
Ready for frequent travel across Delhi/NCR--having own two-wheeler or vehicle is advantageous.
