: 1-3 years in Business Development or Construction Sales (Freshers not eligible)
We are seeking a
proactive and growth-focused Business Development Associate
to join our team in Kochi. If you have experience in construction materials, real estate, or B2B business development--and have strong communication skills in Malayalam--this role is a great fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across builders, contractors, and infrastructure developers.
Present our construction-related products/services with a consultative selling approach.
Understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions that add value.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
Meet and exceed monthly growth targets, revenue goals, and conversion metrics.
Maintain detailed records of outreach, client meetings, and deal progress.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
Coordinate closely with sales support and operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and delivery.
What You Should Bring
:
1-3 years of business development experience in
construction, building materials, or real estate
.
Proficiency in
Malayalam (mandatory)
and English.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong ability to open doors, develop trust, and close deals.
A self-motivated mindset with a focus on targets and client satisfaction.
Comfort with CRM tools and structured pipeline management.
Preferred Background
:
Previous experience in selling
TMT bars, cement, tiles, paints, or construction services
.
An existing network of contacts among builders and contractors in Kerala.
