About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Business Development Associate to focus primarily on lead generation. The role involves identifying potential clients, building contact lists, and supporting the sales team by creating a steady pipeline of qualified leads.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:Research and identify potential clients in the clinical research, pharmaceutical, and biotech sectors.
Generate, qualify, and maintain a database of leads using online platforms, networking, and other resources.
Use tools like LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and industry databases to find relevant contacts.
Outreach and Engagement:Conduct cold outreach via emails, LinkedIn, and phone calls to initiate conversations with potential clients.
Schedule meetings and demos for the senior business development team.
Market Research:Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and potential business opportunities.
Provide insights and suggestions to the team for targeted campaigns.
Collaboration:Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align lead-generation activities with organizational goals.
Contribute to the development of marketing materials, presentations, and proposals.
Reporting and CRM Management:Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and outreach activities in the CRM system.
Generate weekly and monthly reports on lead generation progress.
Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Experience:0-2 years of experience in business development, lead generation, or a similar role.
Prior experience in the clinical research, pharma, or life sciences industry is a plus.
Required Skills:
Strong research and analytical skills to identify potential clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and lead generation tools.
