Excellent Hindi & English communication skills Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and persuasive Telesales Executive to drive outreach and sales to colleges and educational institutions. In this B2B role, you will be responsible for reaching out to college decision-makers, introducing our EdTech solutions, generating interest, and scheduling demos or closing sales over the phone. Key Responsibilities: Make outbound calls to colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to pitch relevant EdTech solutions (e.g., learning platforms, online labs, digital content, training programs). Identify and connect with key decision-makers (e.g., Heads of Department, Principals, Placement Officers, IT/Admin Heads). Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective institutional clients through calls, emails, and follow-ups. Explain product benefits tailored to institutional needs, including outcomes like student engagement, placement success, or academic performance. Schedule product demos or meetings for the field sales or product team, when required. Maintain detailed records of conversations, status updates, and follow-ups using CRM tools. Work towards weekly and monthly lead conversion and sales targets. Collaborate with marketing to refine call scripts and campaign messaging based on feedback from institutions. Stay updated on education trends, curriculum changes, and institutional pain points. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in any discipline. 1-3 years of telesales, B2B sales, or institutional outreach experience (preferably in EdTech, SaaS, publishing, or training sectors). Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and [other relevant languages]. Confident phone presence with the ability to engage professionally with senior educators and administrators. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce) is a plus. Preferred Skills: Prior experience selling to colleges or universities. Understanding of the education ecosystem in India or relevant markets. Ability to explain technical or digital products in simple terms. Persistence and adaptability in long sales cycles.
