JOB ROLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Identify potential customers and new business opportunities within the education sector.
b. Research and prospect new leads through various channels such as lead calling, email
campaigns, social media outreach, and networking events.
c. Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services, particularly its
educational technology solutions.
d. e. f. Tailor sales pitches and presentations to showcase how the company's offerings address the
specific needs and challenges of educational institutions, teachers, and students. Relationship
Building and Consultative Selling Manage and nurture leads through the sales pipeline, from
initial contact to closure.
Keep accurate records of sales activities, including lead interactions, follow-ups, and progress
updates, negotiate term, pricing, and contracts with prospective clients, ensuring company
policies and objectives.
Foster long-term relationships with customers by providing ongoing support, addressing
concerns, and offering additional value-added services.

SKILLS PREFERED:
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication, articulate presentation of
product value, and building rapport with prospects and clients. Sales Skills: Proficiency in lead
generation, prospecting, negotiation, and deal closure, along with an understanding of consultative
selling approaches.
Industry and Product Knowledge: Understanding of the edu-tech landscape, including trends and
challenges, coupled with deep knowledge of the company's products and services.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, make data-driven decisions, and track sales
performance to optimize strategies.
CRM Proficiency: Efficient use of CRM software for lead management, tracking interactions, and
maintaining accurate records.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Addressing objections, overcoming challenges, and developing
creative solutions to meet customer needs effectively.
Time Management and Organization: Prioritizing tasks, meeting sales targets within deadlines,
and efficiently managing workload to drive results.
ELLIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
A. All graduates and post-graduates are eligible.
B. Minimum GPA of 5.5
C. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
D. Experience in inside sales, business development, or a related field, preferably in the edu-tech
industry or a similar sector will be given priority.

COMPENSATION:
Probation Period Structure
For Calendar Month: 15,000 (Base) + 10,000 (variable)
During Full-Time Employment:
3,60,000 (Base) + 2,40,000 (variable) Per Anum
The first ten (10) working days including the day of joining will be "On Job Training (OJT)"
which will be "UNPAID".
Probation period will be of 4 months and further Full-Time job role based on performance.
