Job Description

We are urgently looking for Business Development Associate (Client Connect) location based at Gurgaon.



Key Responsibilities



Client Relationship Management:



Establish and maintain long-term, value-based relationships with clients i.e. Founders & Promoters. Act as a key point of contact for clients across investment banking services. Develop a deep understanding of client needs, business models, and strategic objectives.

Business Development:



Proactively identify and pursue new clients and investment opportunities through industry research and networking. Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and client outreach.

Client Intelligence & Strategy:



Monitor industry trends, deal activity, and client developments to proactively identify opportunities Maintain accurate and up-to-date client intelligence and relationship maps using CRM systems. Prepare internal briefings and client strategy documents for senior leadership.

CRM & Reporting:



Maintain and update client interaction logs and pipeline trackers in CRM tools. Generate periodic reports on client engagement, pipeline status, and business development metrics.

Key Skills & Qualifications



Networking & Communication:

Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and industry stakeholders.

Sales & Negotiation:

Proven ability to market and sell financial products and services, and to negotiate complex deal terms.

Strong understanding of investment banking and capital markets. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proficient in MS Office, CRM and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ). Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus. 2-7 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, consulting, or a client-facing business development role. Strong commercial acumen with a client-first mind-set.

Travel: 20% travel included



Working hour: 10am - 7pm Days: 5.5 Days (Alternate Sat and All Sun are off) Communication Skills: Exceptional Communication & Convincing skills Qualification: Bachelors or Masters from Marketing, Sales or related field
