Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities:
Identify and research potential clients within the egg and poultry industries, including commercial farms, hatcheries, and packaging plants.
Utilize various methods such as industry directories, online research, trade show lists, and social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Outreach and Communication:
Initiate contact with potential clients through personalized email campaigns, direct calls, and professional networking.
Articulate the value proposition of Grademark's products, focusing on how our solutions address the specific needs and challenges of egg producers.
Schedule and conduct product demonstrations and introductory meetings.
Market Research and Strategy:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new market opportunities.
Provide feedback to the management team on market insights, customer needs, and potential product improvements.
Collaboration and Support:
Work closely with the marketing team to align lead generation strategies and support promotional campaigns.
Assist in preparing sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
Qualifications:
Required:
Master's degree in business, Marketing, FNB, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a strong desire to meet and exceed targets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn new CRM and sales tools.
