It’s in our differences that we empower the way the world learns.We are hiring for Inside Sales Manager (Individual Contribution) An overview of the position As an Business Development Associate, you will manage the relationship between Wiley Education Services and a partner institution(s). You will set the strategic account plan and tactics to support relationship expansion and realization of overall partnership objectives. Through collaboration with functional leads to ensure alignment of the overall vision, you will be responsible for advancing university partnerships and boosting the partner’s strategic goals. You will work closely with internal functional leads to define short and long-term strategies and then connect with key external high-level administrative and academic stakeholders across the university organization to expand on the vision. Through exceptional service, you will help remove barriers, troubleshoot, and problem solve to allow service areas to achieve success and drive results for our partners. How you will make an impact:

  • Provides exceptional account management to partner universities, leading efforts to expand and grow the enrolment base through student acquisition and program additions.
  • Has deep understanding of audiences for programs and partners and applies those insights to the development of engagement strategies across the regional portfolio.
  • Responsible for managing projects through internal and external functional teams, updating status reports and leading internal and partner status meetings.
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of corporate lead channels and develops innovative approaches to activating those channels.
  • Leads the development of partner-specific value propositions, offers and calls-to-action to convert interested parties to qualified leads.
  • Supports business development efforts within the India region and takes an active leadership role in developing new opportunities through strategic relationship development.
  • Collaborate with corporate marketing to develop India-specific projects showcasing WileyNXT and its capabilities and expertise in the region.
  • Collaborate with Market Research team to develop India-specific research that delivers to new and existing partner expectations, with regional data and a current understanding of specific markets within the region.
We are looking for people
  • Bachelor’s degree 3-5 years’ experience within B2B account management, inside sales and knowledge of higher education operations
  • Quickly learn the business and know the details
  • Understanding the business – build strong relationships at multiple levels to deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Comfortable in a CRM
  • Use complex, sometimes contradictory, information to effectively solve the problem
