Job Title: Business Development and Key Account Manager - Rigid/FMCG/Plastic Packaging Location: Mumbai Job Type: Full-time Industry: Rigid Packaging, FMCG, Plastic Packaging : We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development and Key Account Manager with expertise in Rigid Packaging, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), and Plastic Packaging. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing key accounts, and contributing to the overall success of our organization in the packaging industry. Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the rigid packaging and FMCG sectors.
Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and market expansion.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through market research, networking, and relationship-building. Key Account Management: Nurture and strengthen relationships with existing key accounts.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored packaging solutions.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty through effective communication and service delivery. Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Conduct regular market analysis to identify new opportunities and threats. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including production, marketing, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
Collaborate with technical teams to understand and communicate product specifications to clients. Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Manage contract renewals and modifications as necessary. Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
Utilize CRM tools to track and manage customer interactions, sales leads, and opportunities. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development and key account management within the rigid packaging, FMCG, or plastic packaging industry.
  • Strong understanding of packaging technologies and materials.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
