Job Description

A pest control business administration job involves overseeing operations, managing staff, ensuring financial health, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include scheduling technicians, managing inventory, handling client inquiries and escalations, processing invoices, generating reports, training staff, and supporting the company's growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities

Operations Management:

Supervise daily activities of pest control technicians. Manage team schedules, work orders, and service routes efficiently. Monitor inventory of pesticides, fumigants, and equipment. Conduct site visits to handle escalated issues and ensure quality service.

Customer Service:

Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Maintain strong client relationships by effectively communicating service solutions. Handle client billing, including explaining costs to customers.

Financial Management:

Manage financial records and accounts for the company. Generate performance data and reports for leadership. Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Team & Regulatory Compliance:

Provide training and guidance to team members and onboard new hires. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Strategic Support:

Support the development and implementation of pest control programs and strategies. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Typical Qualifications

Experience:

Previous experience in pest control or a similar service industry is often required. Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is a significant plus.

Skills:

Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions. Basic understanding of business operations, financial management, and customer service.

Education/Certifications:

A high school diploma or GED is a minimum requirement. Some roles may prefer coursework in business or related fields.

Other Requirements:

A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are often essential for field management and vehicle use. Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to pest control is important.
