Key Responsibilities:Market Research & Strategy
Conduct research to identify key agricultural regions, crops, and potential customers.
Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies tailored to regional demands.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to guide business development.
Sales & Business Growth
Identify and pursue new business leads in rural and semi-urban areas.
Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, agri-cooperatives, agro-dealers, and retailers.
Deliver product presentations, demos, and workshops to promote product usage.
Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Ensure timely follow-up and payment collection from clients.
Technical Support & Training
Advise farmers on optimal fertilizer application methods, dosage, and crop-specific practices.
Conduct training sessions and field visits to monitor usage and provide after-sales support.
Record and report crop performance and customer feedback.
Marketing & Promotion
Create and distribute promotional content such as brochures, videos, and social media posts.
Organize participation in agri-exhibitions, field days, and demo events.
Drive online campaigns to expand brand visibility and generate leads.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain CRM and customer databases.
Submit periodic sales reports, market updates, and campaign performance.
Document client success stories and impact reports.
Key Requirements:Education:
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agri-business, or related disciplines.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in agricultural sales, marketing, or consultancy (preferred).
Experience in fertilizer or agrochemical industries is highly desirable.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of crop nutrition and fertilizer application.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Self-driven, able to work remotely and travel as needed.
Knowledge of regional languages and agricultural practices is a plus.
