Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the
defense, public safety, education, and PSU sectors
.
Leverage government platforms such as
GeM, CPPP, and departmental vendor portals
.
Client Engagement:
Establish connections with key decision-makers in
Army HQs, Police HQs, DRDO labs, PSUs, and ministries
.
Schedule meetings, product demos, and presentations.
Sales Conversion:
Convert leads into revenue by effectively pitching MIPL's
VR simulators, AI surveillance systems, Robotics, and training products
.
Handle technical and commercial discussions with government clients.
Tender & Proposal Support:
Coordinate with the proposal/tender team for timely submission of
EOIs, RFPs, and budgetary quotations
.
Networking & Events:
Represent MIPL in
defense expos, conferences, government exhibitions
, and outreach programs.
Market Intelligence:
Track current tenders, procurement plans, and policy updates in the government and defense space.
Required Skills:
Strong communication and presentation skills
Understanding of Government procurement processes(preferred)
Ability to build relationships with senior officials
Self-driven with a target-oriented mindset
Technical understanding of MIPL's products (training will be provided)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
Experience in B2G/Defense/PSU sales is a plus
Knowledge of GeM, CPPP, and eProcurement portals
