Role Overview

This role combines

business analysis, growth strategy, and process optimization.

You will work closely with the leadership team to:


Identify new

revenue

opportunities within the

Shopify ecosystem

. Optimize

current services, pricing models, and delivery processes

. Suggest and validate

go-to-market strategies

based on data and market insights. Guide internal teams with actionable recommendations to improve merchant outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market & Opportunity Analysis

Conduct in-depth

market research, competitive benchmarking,

and

trend forecasting

in the Shopify & e-commerce space. Identify

new service opportunities

based on merchant pain points, including app ideas, theme enhancements, CRO packages, and retention strategies. Analyze industry trends to spot

untapped niches

for Mastroke's expansion.

2. Data-Driven Business Insights

Gather and interpret data from

Shopify analytics, e-commerce dashboards, UX tracking tools, and marketing platforms.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Mastroke's services, such as conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, ROAS, churn rate, and AOV. Build

automated reporting dashboards

for leadership and team leads to track business performance.

3. Strategic Planning & Execution Support

Collaborate with stakeholders to

design go-to-market strategies

for new and existing services. Recommend

pricing models, promotional strategies, and positioning

to increase adoption. Work with project leads to optimize workflows, reduce delivery time, and improve efficiency. Suggest

Shopify integrations and automation tools

that can enhance merchant performance.

4. Cross-Team Collaboration

Engage with sales, marketing, design, and development teams to ensure data-driven decision-making. Participate in select

client discovery calls

to capture market needs and validate service opportunities. Create

strategic presentations, pitch decks, and visual business plans

for internal and stakeholder discussions.

Required Skills & Experience

4-8 years

in business analysis, e-commerce strategy, or digital growth roles (preferably in the Shopify ecosystem). Strong understanding of

Shopify platform capabilities

, merchant challenges, and growth levers. Experience in creating

business cases, GTM strategies, and ROI models

. Hands-on expertise with

e-commerce analytics, A/B testing, and funnel optimization

. Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (

ClickUp, Asana, Trello

). Strong communication and storytelling skills -- ability to simplify complex insights for varied audiences. Analytical mindset with proficiency in

data visualization and dashboarding tools

(e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau). Comfortable working with

UX analytics

(Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity),

SEO tools

(Ahrefs, SEMrush), and

marketing automation

(Klaviyo, Omnisend, HubSpot).
