Role Summary

The Business Data Analyst will support day-to-day business operations through accurate data entry, report management, and MIS support across operations, supply chain, and merchandising functions. This role is execution-focused and critical to maintaining data accuracy in ERP systems and Excel-based reports, while also supporting basic automation and process digitization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management & MIS Support

Perform accurate business data entry related to apparel operations, supply chain, and merchandising Maintain and update existing MIS reports in Excel and ERP systems Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and timely availability for business teams

Operational & Functional Support

Work closely with operations, supply chain, and merchandising teams to capture and validate data Assist in tracking production, order status, inventory, and dispatch-related data Highlight data gaps, inconsistencies, or delays to relevant stakeholders Ensure documentation of data processes and reporting structures

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong working knowledge of Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas) Familiarity with ERP systems used in the garment/apparel industry High attention to detail and data accuracy Good coordination and follow-up skills
Qualification & Experience

Graduate in any discipline (Commerce / Operations / Supply Chain preferred) Entry-level experience or internship exposure in data entry / MIS / operations analytics Exposure to the garment or apparel industry is an added advantage
