Title: Business consultant or Business Analyst - In manufacturing
Skills: Expertise in two or more Functional areas like Sourcing, Procurement, Planning, Production, Sales & Aftersales, Logistics, Dealer Management etc.
Familiarity with one or more digital themes such as IoT/IIoT, Smart Manufacturing, Supplier Collaboration, Customer
experience management etc. At least one industrial software (MES, SCADA, PLM, MII, ERP etc.),

Qualification: BE / Btech / ME / Mtech, MCA,Msc.

In the role of a domain leader, you will be expected to leverage your domain expertise to understand key trends shaping the
global Industrial / Core Manufacturing sector, identify transformation levers, design the next generation IT-led solutions and
facilitate solution deployment by leading small to medium projects. Additionally, the consultant is expected to provide thought
leadership contribution to strengthen DCG credentials within and outside the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Full time role based out of Infosys offices listed above or client locations
Design Business Use cases, Lead to develop Functional/Business Architecture, Re-engineer process models and Integrate
disparate services for end to end solution delivery
Leverage industry frameworks like APQC, SCOR etc. for potential supply chain transformation programs
Offer new consulting services by combining next generation digital themes IoT, Cloud, AI, Analytics, Mobility etc. to
the process operations on shop-floor and departments
Be a Subject Matter Expert for the client and IT team
Work with Infosys sales team to lead or drive business / functional content in client pursuits
Provides leadership in planning, development and implementation of functional solutions
Drive thought leadership initiatives by ccontributing PoVs, Whitepapers, etc. on internal and external fora
Contribute to account management strategy and unit strategy, as required
Required (Mandatory)
12-15 years of relevant experience as a domain / business consultant or Business Analyst or an industry practitioner in
manufacturing.
Extensive experience in at least ONE of the industry segments
1. Industrial segments like Heavy Machineries like Engines, Turbines, Power Generators, Construction & Farm
machinery equipment, Medical & Imaging Diagnostic equipment, Transmission & Distribution Equipment,
HVAC & Smart buildings, Elevators & Escalators
Demonstrates strong proficiency across the Industry value chain and related best practices
Expertise in two or more Functional areas like Sourcing, Procurement, Planning, Production, Sales & Aftersales, Logistics,
Dealer Management etc.
Familiarity with one or more digital themes such as IoT/IIoT, Smart Manufacturing, Supplier Collaboration, Customer
experience management etc.
Knowledge of at least one industrial software (MES, SCADA, PLM, MII, ERP etc.), including configuration parameters, to
implement multiple functionalities meeting both the business and non-functional requirements
Experience in driving meetings/workshops with senior client executives, business leads & cross functional stakeholders
and articulate project documents lucidly
Excellent soft skills - written and verbal communication
Required (Nice to have)
Ability to understand and use advance analysis methods in slightly complex client scenarios to ensure problem areas are
identified and impact on the business is understood
Ability to work across project lifecycle, and adopt Agile practices
Demonstrated skill in a sales or pre sales role is a plus
Secondary skills (not compulsory)
Global exposure to a multi-cultural organization structure
Preferably should have an exposure to outsourcing and offshoring work models
Additional Linguistic Skills Japanese / German / French etc.
Education Qualifications
B.E./B. Tech/M. Tech. Mechanical, Instrumentation, Industrial, Communication, Electronics, Comp. Science etc.
PGDM/MBA Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, Finance, IT etc.
Any relevant certification will be an added advantage Six Sigma, APICS, SCOR, PMP, TOGAF etc.Personal
