Job Description

A Business Central Functional/Technical Consultant is a role that bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system. They analyze business requirements, configure and customize the system, and ensure its successful implementation and ongoing support. This involves understanding business processes, translating them into system requirements, and either configuring the out-of-the-box Business Central or developing customizations to meet specific client needs. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

Working with clients to understand their business processes, identify pain points, and translate these into functional and technical requirements for Business Central.

System Configuration and Customization:

Configuring the standard Business Central functionalities, developing customizations (if needed), and ensuring the system aligns with the client's needs.

Implementation and Deployment:

Leading or supporting the implementation of Business Central, including data migration, testing, and user training.

Troubleshooting and Support:

Diagnosing and resolving system issues, providing ongoing support to users, and ensuring the system runs smoothly.

Integration Development:

Potentially working on API integrations between Business Central and other enterprise systems.

Training and Documentation:

Conducting training sessions for users and creating documentation to support system usage.

Pre-Sales Activities:

May be involved in pre-sales activities, including presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
Skills and Qualifications:

Strong understanding of Business Central (or Dynamics NAV):
