Job Title: Senior Oracle APEX & Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) Developer





: We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX and Oracle Fusion Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong emphasis on front-end development and a solid understanding of Oracle database technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and application lifecycle management. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact enterprise applications, integrating Oracle Cloud technologies with on-premise and SaaS solutions.



Key Responsibilities:


Design and develop system solutions to business problems using Oracle APEX, Oracle Fusion VBCS, and Oracle PL/SQL.

Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces and reusable components within Oracle Fusion VBCS for cloud-based applications.

Integrate APEX and VBCS applications with Oracle ERP Cloud and other backend systems using REST and SOAP web services.

Review, analyze, debug, and enhance existing code to improve functionality, performance, and maintainability.

Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle--requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage code repositories using tools like Git and FlexDeploy.

Collaborate with DBAs, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure efficient and secure integration across environments.

Migrate and deploy applications through multiple environments and cloud platforms.

Conduct research to stay current with emerging Oracle Cloud technologies, APEX, and VBCS updates.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience.

Proven expertise in Oracle Application Express (APEX) and Oracle Fusion Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3 for developing dynamic front-end interfaces.

Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs for system integrations.

Solid understanding of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database schema design.

Experience with version control (Git) and deployment tools such as FlexDeploy.

Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle ERP Cloud, and related integration patterns.

Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and DevOps practices.

Experience with Oracle ADF and PHP is a plus.

Knowledge of Linux environments, Oracle AOL objects, and Supply Chain integrations is advantageous.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a distributed team
