Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analytics SME with strong expertise in Life

Sciences Commercial Data, Data Warehousing, and Sales Analytics to join our

transformation program. This individual will play a key role in the assessment, design, and

validation of KPIs, reports, and data models while ensuring alignment with business needs.

The SME will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, guiding

functional analysis, KPI definition, and reporting requirements throughout the lifecycle of the

project.

Roles and responsibilities

? Lead functional discovery and assessment workshops with client stakeholders across

Commercial, Sales, Contracting, C360, Claims, and other subject areas.

? Review and validate KPI catalogue, definitions, calculation logic, and feasibility

against available source systems (PSA/Staging, DWH).

? Drive KPI-to-source field mapping and ensure traceability through STTM

(Source-to-Target Mapping).

? Author and validate Functional Specifications for KPIs, reports, and dashboards.

? Support design of baseline data model by interpreting business rules and translating

them into functional requirements.

? Conduct data validation and reconciliation analysis against legacy systems and

reports (e.g., DASH).

? Partner with technical leads to ensure alignment on ETL, DWH, and Power BI

requirements.

? Contribute to defining RLS/OLS rules, user personas, and report views for Power BI

dashboards.

? Develop and validate UAT test cases; support client teams during UAT execution and

defect triage.

? Provide insights on commercial data structures (Sales, Claims, Contracting,

Subscriptions, C360, etc.) and industry-standard practices in Life Sciences analytics.

? Ensure risks and gaps in KPI feasibility, data availability, or business alignment are

identified and escalated proactively.

Required Skills & Experience

? 8-12 years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Warehousing, and

BI/Reporting.

? Strong knowledge of Life Sciences Commercial Data including Sales, Contracting,

C360, Claims, and Subscriptions.

? Hands-on experience with KPI definition, validation, and reporting requirements

gathering.

? Experience in Data Warehousing concepts (DWH, Data Marts, ETL pipelines,

PSA/Staging layers).

? Familiarity with reporting/visualization tools (preferably Power BI).

? Strong analytical skills to interpret sales and commercial performance data.

? Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills for workshops.

? Ability to create functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

? Prior experience in data reconciliation and UAT preparation/execution.

? Exposure to tools like Snowflake, IICS, and commercial data models preferred.

Preferred Background

? Experience working on large-scale commercial data transformation programs in

Pharma/Life Sciences.

? Knowledge of IQVIA, Symphony, or other syndicated pharma datasets.

? Understanding of regulatory/compliance considerations for healthcare data.

? Prior experience working in Agile PODs for reporting/analytics projects.

Qualifications

? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information

Systems, Computer Science, or Life Sciences.

? Additional certifications in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, or Reporting

Tools (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake) are preferred.

? Certification or proven knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

? Strong domain understanding of Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences Commercial

Operations (e.g., Sales, Contracting, Market Access).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
