As Citi Retail Services team, we support analytical functions across cards business of retail partner. Few notables among the multiple areas that we work in:

o Customer lifecycle management: Design and implement strategies to improve customer experience and drive revenue, spanning across all 3 stages of customer lifecycle \xe2\x80\x93 acquisition, ECM and Retention

o Offer optimization: Design, test and implement innovative and customer-centric offers tailored to drive customer delight and grow engagement

o Digital: Trace customer\xe2\x80\x99s digital journey with Citi, design strategies to make digital experience more engaging and drive revenue through low cost digital channels

o Revenue/Financial forecasting: Design, maintain and enhance P&L forecasting for all products & portfolios, ensure strict adherence to accounting standards and accurate forecasting techniques to help product managers plan better

Expertise Required:

The Business Analytics Int Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub function/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses\' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Analytical Skills

o Basic Statistics

o Hypothesis testing

o Proficient in Formulating Analytical methodology, identifying trends and patterns with data

o Ability to handle complex data and generate meaningful business insights

(Preferred) - Knowledge of Segmentation, Basic Knowledge of predictive modeling, Traditional and Machine Learning Algorithms

Tools and Platforms

o SAS, SQL

o MS Excel, PowerPoint

Preferred - Knowledge Seeker, Python/R

Domain Skills

In depth understanding of

o Customer Lifecycle Management

o Acquisitions

o Customer engagement (Pricing, P&L forecasting)

o Customer servicing & understanding customer touch points

o Customer retention

(Preferred) - Knowledge of Credit Card PnL, Understanding or Retail Business

Soft Skills

o Ability to identify, clearly articulate and solve complex business problems and present them to the management in a structured and simpler form

o Should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills with good presentation skills

o Strong process/project management skills

Educational and Experience:

o MBA / Master degree in Economics / Statistics / Mathematics / Information Technology / Computer Applications / Engineering from a premier institute. BTech / B.E in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Applications

o (Preferred) Post Graduate in \xe2\x80\x93 Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Econometrics, Management Science and related fields

o 5 to 8 years of hands on experience in delivering Analytical solutions
