The Role
As a Business analyst on the Veeva Digital Events team, you will own the design and execution for major components of our Digital Events tech stack.
Veeva Digital Events has multiple products to support HCPs, logistics team members, pharmaceutical sales reps, and integration into CRM.
You are excited about business-process innovation to deliver customer success. You are comfortable working with a cross-functional team with engineers, testers, product, and operations team members.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is excited about product design and thinking strategically about process improvement and architecture for scalability, reliability, privacy, and quality in service delivery.
This position is remote with some days in the office.
What You'll Do
Own and design product features from start to finish, including user stories, functional & non-functional requirements, feature specifications, quality control checks
Manage the prioritization and focus on enhancements
Author high-quality design specifications within an agile methodology based upon industry and downstream systems/customer requirements
Support release and sprint planning to ensure product enhancements support the needs of the customers at the right time and in the right sequence
Collaborate closely with Development, QA, Project Management, and Product Management to ensure products are built and delivered with quality
Be accountable for the success of the product
Acquire deep subject matter expertise in promotional and non-promotional event programing in life sciences
Requirements
6+ years of hands-on business analyst experience/technical services/engineering related positions in the software space
Strong understanding of all aspects of the product development lifecycle, including the definition of requirements, engineering, QA, and deployment
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in English
BA/MA/BSc/MSc in relevant fields
Nice to Have
Hands-on technical experience in engineering, solution architecture, business analytics, or other related positions in the software space
Experience with Microsoft development tools and technologies and React
Exposure to Azure cloud environment
Experience in the Life Sciences industry, SaaS, and/or enterprise products
Understanding of Life Sciences Speaker Bureau
