About the Role
As a Business Analyst at Propel, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams. You will translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements while driving solution alignment and delivery excellence.
Beyond requirement gathering, this role involves consulting with senior stakeholders, mentoring junior analysts, improving internal processes, and ensuring delivery outcomes align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Consulting
Engage with client stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and prioritize complex requirements.
Translate business objectives into functional and solution requirements with clear recommendations.
Partner with leadership teams to analyze data, derive insights, and propose value-driven solutions.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and solution improvements that deliver measurable business impact.
Act as the primary delivery point of contact for senior client stakeholders, managing governance, escalations, and communication.
Solution Design & Delivery
Own end-to-end requirements documentation including BRD, SRS, scope documents, and functional specifications.
Collaborate with UX, Creative, Architecture, and Engineering teams to design prototypes, wireframes, and solution approaches.
Ensure requirements are translated into scalable, reliable, and feasible technical solutions.
Partner with Delivery Leads to support project planning, effort estimation, timelines, and execution strategy.
Team Leadership & Enablement
Mentor and guide junior business analysts, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
Track and manage project scope, delivery effort, and alignment with client expectations.
Promote Propel's culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and psychological safety.
Identify training needs and support capability building across teams.
What We're Looking For
2 to 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Consulting, or Digital Solution Delivery.
Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
Solid understanding of SDLC processes and digital product delivery environments.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools is an added advantage.
Ability to manage ambiguity and solve problems using structured, analytical thinking.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced delivery environments.
