Responsibilities:

Work with stakeholders to understand healthcare business processes and challenges. Gather, document, and analyze functional and non-functional requirements. Translate business requirements into clear and concise specifications for technical teams. Analyze current workflows and processes in clinical, administrative, and operational areas. Identify areas for improvement and propose optimized solutions. Ensure alignment of solutions with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). Act as a liaison between healthcare providers, management, IT teams, and other stakeholders. Facilitate communication to ensure that all parties understand project goals and progress. Analyze healthcare data (e.g., patient records, billing, claims) to identify trends, inefficiencies, or areas of concern. Create reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes.: Assist in the design and development of systems like Electronic Health Records (EHR), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), or insurance claim systems. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that implemented solutions meet the business needs. Ensure solutions comply with healthcare regulations and data privacy laws. Maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, workflows, and system specifications. Provide training and support to healthcare staff on new systems and processes. Address post-implementation issues and recommend continuous improvements.
Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare domain. Strong understanding of healthcare systems, EHR/EMR platforms, and insurance workflows. Knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, ICD-10 coding, CMS guidelines). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI) and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, JIRA, Confluence). Problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
