Job Summary:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Business Analyst to monitor and optimize the operations of our Quick Commerce B2B Grocery Dark Stores. This role is pivotal in leveraging data to drive operational excellence across order fulfillment, inventory management, and last-mile delivery. You'll bridge the gap between operations and data, providing actionable insights to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to order fulfillment (pick rates, pack times, accuracy), inventory (stock levels, shrinkage, spoilage, fill rates), and last-mile delivery (delivery times, on-time performance, route efficiency, customer escalations).
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular insights to the operations team and senior management.
Identify trends, anomalies, and root causes of operational inefficiencies.
Operational Optimization:
Collaborate with Store Managers to identify areas for operational improvement based on data analysis.
Recommend and implement solutions to optimize store layout, picking paths, packing processes, and delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Conduct time and motion studies to optimize task execution and resource allocation.
. Support the implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance supply chain operations.
Inventory & Demand Planning:
Work closely with the procurement and sales teams to improve demand forecasting accuracy for various grocery products.
Develop and implement strategies for optimal inventory levels, minimizing stockouts and overstocking while considering shelf life.
Analyze inventory turns and make recommendations for product assortment and replenishment strategies.
Process Improvement:
Map existing supply chain processes and identify bottlenecks and areas for streamlining and automation.
Develop and document new or updated standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various supply chain functions.
Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and iterate as necessary.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Act as a liaison between operations, technology, sales, and finance teams to ensure alignment on supply chain objectives and initiatives.
Communicate complex data insights in an understandable manner to diverse stakeholders.
Support ad-hoc analytical requests and special projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a supply chain, logistics, or quick commerce environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python/R, Power BI, Tableau).
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is highly desirable.
Understanding of quick commerce operations, B2B grocery, and last-mile delivery challenges.
Familiarity with inventory management principles (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, safety stock, reorder points).
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
