Business Analyst \xe2\x80\x93 Reporting and Visualization

State Street\xe2\x80\x99s Client Reporting Team offers a full suite of reporting services required by the most sophisticated Investment Managers. We gather data from multiple sources internally and externally from - IBOR, ABORE, performance, market data vendors and client supplied data and runs through a robust workflow to produce end client reports. We are a self-service report building team who has taken the initiative to build a team to meet the most complex reporting requirements for the entire bank.

Specifically, the candidate will:

• Individual in this role will perform end to end Requirement analysis and support dashboards/reporting for State Street Investment Management Services.
• Lead & Execute the End Client Reporting/Visualization delivery to the client by understanding client requirements and custom client requests.
• Collaborate with global functional teams for understanding requirements, development demos and functional validations.
• Should to handle the delivery in testing environment and understand the end to end work flow and troubleshoot issues.
• Should be able Understand trades E2E through different middle office applications which includes:

• Trade Lifecycle/Management
• Record Keeping
• Validation of Reports to the client
• Clear understanding of Software Test Life cycle and able to handle test artifacts and documentation.
• Defect identification, tracking and documentation on ALM/Jira.
• Producing metrics and status reporting to the management on timely basis
• Coordination with APAC/ US / UK and third-party vendors or SSC Clients
• Good Experience in SQL and understanding of data analysis using SQL
• Interface with data experts, data sourcing resources and assist in the data validation process and Write queries
• Experience working with complex data sets and implementing complex business logics to provide intelligence reporting solutions, perform data gap analysis on complex financial data
• Individual in this role will design, develop and support dashboards and reporting for State Street Investment Management Services.
• Experience in working with large scale data warehouse solutions , data modeling and designing data marts
• Experience in data governess models and data quality implementation techniques

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, MIS, Information Technology, or related field of study
• 8 + years overall experience with functional testing and capital market background.
• Demonstrated excellence in business writing, development of business process flow diagrams, making comparisons regarding current and future processes, and effective communication
• Ability to articulate basic project methodology concepts using either SDLC or Agile
• Ability to analyze entity-relationship diagrams and logical data models to validate design against requirements
• Ability to write SQL code for strong data analysis through queries and data validation exercises
• Familiarity with financial reporting, business intelligence, and data warehousing principles
• Understands BI/reporting tool architecture, functions, and features
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences with excellent facilitation
