Role Overview: Business Analyst and Lead Business Analyst

Are you a seasoned Business Analyst with a robust IT background? As a pivotal member of our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our business requirements and technological solutions. Collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams, you will excel in identifying, analyzing, and meticulously documenting business needs, while devising innovative IT solutions that culminate in the successful execution of IT projects. Oversee Business Analysts under your team and ensure that they complete the projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

Liaise closely with stakeholders to adeptly elicit, prioritize, and meticulously document business requisites for IT projects. Undertake comprehensive analyses of business processes, workflows, and systems to unearth avenues for enhancement. Translate intricate business needs into lucid, succinct functional and technical specifications.

2. Solution Design and Documentation:

Forge a collaborative alliance with development teams to conceptualize, validate, and meticulously document IT solutions that seamlessly align with overarching business requirements and IT architecture. Your attention to detail will ensure that project documentation, including functional specifications, use cases, and process flows, remains comprehensive and up to date.

3. Project Management and Coordination:

Contribute to meticulous project planning, scheduling, and coordination to uphold the punctual delivery of IT projects. Through vigilant monitoring of project progress, you will adeptly identify and address any impediments or risks that could potentially compromise project timelines and deliverables.

4. Stakeholder Communication:

Exhibit prowess in effective communication, ensuring that business stakeholders, technical teams, and management share a lucid comprehension of requirements, project status, and envisaged outcomes. Drive collaboration through skillful facilitation of meetings, workshops, and presentations, harnessing feedback to guide decision-making processes.

5. Quality Assurance and Testing:

In partnership with quality assurance teams, draft comprehensive test plans and meticulous test cases to ascertain the quality of IT solutions. Your involvement in the testing process and adept issue resolution will prove instrumental in the successful implementation of solutions.

6. Continuous Improvement:

Stay attuned to industry trends, optimal practices, and technological breakthroughs, allowing you to proactively propose ingenious solutions to intricate business challenges. Actively identify prospects for process optimization and operational efficiencies within the IT landscape.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- A minimum of 4 years' proven experience as a Business Analyst within the IT domain.

- Profound understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

- Proficiency in adeptly eliciting and meticulously documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.

- Familiarity with data analysis coupled with an aptitude for basic data modeling.

- Proven experience in skillfully orchestrating workshops, meetings, and stakeholder interactions.

- Exceptional communication acumen, fostering seamless interactions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Aptitude for both autonomous work and collaborative contributions in a team-centric environment.

- Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking faculties.

- A certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a distinct advantage.
