As a Technical Business Analyst in the Technical Projects Delivery Team you will be responsible for working across multiple projects working throughout the full project lifecycle. Using a mixture of waterfall and agile delivery approaches, working with project team members, stakeholders across the business and with third party suppliers; you will ensure that the technology and services provided to internal and external customers deliver business benefit and are fit for purpose.
Core Duties / Responsibilities:
Identification, documentation and agreement of scope and functional and non-functional requirements.
Ensure that requirements are prioritised and traceable through delivery and testing as fit for purpose and delivering the defined benefit.
Ensure that technical documentation is created to support: As Is discovery, solution design and solution implementation.
As Is and To Be landscape and process mapping.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Engineers and Test Engineers to ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards and governance gateways.
Benefits identification and management.
Engage as a member of the core team of analysts to define and continually improve working practice.
Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to both think and plan at a strategic, big picture level as well as in the detail.
Strong stakeholder management and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels using appropriate mediums.
Strong requirements management skills.
Robust experience of process mapping and design.
Demonstratable experience as a Business Analyst of technology focused projects.
High level understanding/appreciation of technologies such as:
+ Networks
+ Servers
+ Desktops
+ End User Software Knowledge of waterfall and agile project delivery methodologies and software development practices.
Analysis and structured documentation of technical landscapes, system dependencies and interface requirements.
Strong Microsoft Productivity Suite skills (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams...).
Robust awareness of compliance, GDPR and IT Security regulation, policy and process.
Experience of the Financial Industry desirable.
Educated to degree level desirable or equivalent experience. (BA qualifications/certification e.g. ISEB, BCS, desirable but not essential).
