Business & Functional Analysis

Collaborate with business teams (product, sales, operations, finance etc.) primarily with the collections team to gather and analyze requirements across the lending lifecycle: specifically collections use cases Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for IT teams. Map current processes and identify gaps or inefficiencies in lending operations. Work with cross-functional teams including product & sales teams, developers, QA, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of IT solutions. Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications (FS), User Stories, and Use Cases specific to lending systems. Create process flows, data models, and wireframes to support solution design. Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to ensure clarity and alignment. Define and execute test scenarios for UAT and system integration testing. Validate that solutions meet business requirements and regulatory standards (e.g., RBI guidelines, credit bureau integration). Ensure lending solutions comply with internal risk policies, regulatory requirements, and data privacy norms. Support audits and risk assessments related to lending applications.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related field. 6-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking, with a focus on lending systems. Strong understanding of lending products (personal loans, business loans, education loan, gold loan etc.) and lifecycle stages. Expertise in Collections Life Cycle. Experience with loan origination systems (LOS), loan management systems (LMS), and integrations with credit bureaus, KYC platforms, CRM, Collections and Data warehouse systems. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Visio.
