We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Data Analyst with a strong background in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Payments, Liquidity, or Trade domains, coupled with expertise in data analysis and SQL. This role requires an individual who can thrive in an Agile environment and has a demonstrated ability to manage projects using JIRA.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis
: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements related to Payments, Liquidity, or Trade domains.
Data Analysis
: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities. Develop reports and visualizations to assist in decision-making.
SQL Querying
: Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data from relational databases.
Agile Projects
: Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
JIRA Management
: Manage project tasks, user stories, and issues using JIRA, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Stakeholder Communication
: Communicate analysis findings, recommendations, and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
Required Skills & Experience:
Business & Data Analysis
: Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst, particularly in the banking or financial services industry.
Banking Domain Expertise
: In-depth understanding of Payments, Liquidity, or Trade domains within the banking or financial sector.
SQL Skills
: Proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
Agile Methodology
: Experience working on Agile projects and familiarity with Agile tools and practices.
JIRA
: Hands-on experience with JIRA for task tracking, project management, and issue resolution.
Communication Skills
: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and analysis to non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Data Analysis (e.g., Google Data Analytics) is a plus.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
