Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Techno-Functional Business Analyst (L2)

who can effectively bridge business requirements with technical implementation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in requirement gathering, functional documentation, and stakeholder coordination across

web, mobile, and e-commerce projects

.
This role requires a solid understanding of product workflows, agile delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. You will be responsible for managing the requirement lifecycle, working closely with business and technical teams, and supporting the successful delivery of digital solutions aligned with business objectives and user needs.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., ECBA, CBAP, CCBA) or Agile/Scrum methodologies are an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder discussions and workshops. Convert requirements into

BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria

. Create and maintain process flows, wireframes, and functional documentation with UI/UX collaboration. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, development, QA, and design teams to ensure clarity and alignment. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Support backlog refinement, prioritization, and impact analysis for change requests. Ensure requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to validate integrations and functional coverage. Identify opportunities for process improvement and workflow optimization.

Domain Knowledge & Technical Awareness

Good understanding of

web and e-commerce application workflows

. Strong conceptual understanding of how web applications function (not coding-focused). Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs. Awareness of SEO fundamentals, performance considerations, and accessibility standards (WCAG). Ability to

translate business requirements into user journeys, wireframes, and development-ready user stories.

Support process improvement initiatives and assist in identifying automation opportunities. Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure functional coverage and integration validation.

Required Skills & Expertise

3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Techno-Functional role. Strong experience with

BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and Agile/Scrum practices

. Hands-on experience with tools like

Jira, Confluence, ClickUp, Figma, or Lucidchart.

Good understanding of web/mobile applications, eCommerce workflows, and API integrations. Conceptual knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

Business Analysis certifications (ECBA, CBAP, CCBA) are a plus. Agile or Scrum certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP) are advantageous. * Familiarity with tools like Miro, Notion, Airtable, or BI platforms is an added benefit.
