Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Data Analyst to lead data analysis efforts for a high-impact data migration program within the insurance domain. This role demands deep expertise in Guidewire and PMT data models, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity, quality, and consistency throughout the migration lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: o Lead the analysis of complex source system data to identify anomalies, gaps, and data quality issues. o Partner with source system SMEs and business stakeholders to understand data semantics, business rules, and transformation requirements. o Define and document end-to-end source-to-target data mappings, including cleansing, enrichment, and transformation logic. o Provide strategic input into data migration architecture and tooling decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. o Oversee the development and execution of data profiling, validation, and reconciliation processes. o Act as a data quality champion, driving standards and best practices across the migration team. o Collaborate with data engineers, ETL developers, and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of data logic. o Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building a high-performing data migration team. o Prepare and present data insights, mapping decisions, and issue resolutions to senior stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications: o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field. o 7+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 3 years in data migration projects. o Strong domain expertise in insurance, with hands-on experience in Guidewire and PMT data models. o Advanced proficiency in SQL, data profiling tools, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). o Proven experience in data cleansing, transformation, and mapping in large-scale enterprise environments. o Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills. o Ability to lead cross-functional discussions and drive consensus on complex data issues. Preferred Qualifications: o Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). o Familiarity with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and master data management (MDM). o Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
