Role Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in investment products (PMS, demat and mutual fund distribution), as well as a solid understanding of PMS core platforms, demat back-office platforms. This role requires someone who can translate business requirements into actionable solutions for IT teams, ensuring smooth implementation of projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams, and the capacity to contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Your key responsibilities
Investment product expertise
Utilize in-depth knowledge of discretionary portfolio management services. Good understanding on investment products such as mutual fund (from distribution perspective), demat back office, insurance etc. Support customization and product level changes of Moneyware integra application and Dpsecure.
Good understanding of SEBI regulation related to investment products.
Business Requirement Translation:
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications for IT teams. Work closely with IT teams to ensure that all requirements are well understood and properly implemented.
BRDs, Wireframes & Documentation:
Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and wireframes to clearly define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Ensure all documents are clear, concise, and aligned with business needs and IT capabilities.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with QA teams to verify test coverage scenarios, ensuring that all functional and non-functional requirements are thoroughly tested.
Provide feedback to ensure that defects and issues are addressed prior to deployment.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns as needed.
Change Management:
Assist in managing change requests related to business processes, system enhancements, and product developments. Ensure that changes are implemented in a controlled and efficient manner, minimizing disruption to business operations.
Your skills and experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the investment products
• Strong expertise with Moneyware integra, Wealth spectrum on any similar wealth systems.
• In-depth knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience creating BRDs, wireframes, and functional specifications.
• Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical specifications and working closely with IT teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with testing, defect management, and quality assurance processes.
• Strong understanding of budget forecasting, resource management, and project cost control.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, investments, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Business Analysis / Product Owner is a plus.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
