Process Analysis:
Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Documentation:
Develop comprehensive documentation, including use cases, functional specifications, and process flow diagrams, to clearly convey requirements to development teams.
Solution Design:
Work closely with IT and development teams to design solutions that meet business needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Testing Support:
Assist in the creation of test strategies and plans, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet the defined requirements.
Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and managing expectations.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Domain Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of insurance products and processes, particularly in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical abilities to assess complex business scenarios and propose effective solutions.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with databases, basic scripting, and tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Basic knowledge of SQL and other database languages is advantageous.
Certifications:
Professional certifications in the insurance domain, such as those related to P&C insurance, are a plus.
Experience:
A minimum of 8 years in the IT industry as a Business Analyst, with significant exposure to insurance-related projects.
