Job Description

Job Summary
The Business Analyst will be responsible for identifying business needs, analyzing processes, and translating requirements into clear functional specifications. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Requirement Analysis
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions
Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and user stories
Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements
Data & Process Analysis
Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
Develop process maps, workflows, and use cases
Support data-driven decision-making through reports and dashboards
Stakeholder & Project Support
Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors
Support project planning, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and change management
Ensure solutions meet business objectives and quality standards
Documentation & Communication
Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation
Present findings, insights, and recommendations to management
Support training and rollout of new systems or processes
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation tools
Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
MBA or relevant certification is an added advantage
Experience
2-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Preferred Certifications (Optional)
CBAP / CCBA
PMI-PBA
Agile / Scrum Certification
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accuracy and completeness of requirements
Stakeholder satisfaction
Timely delivery of project milestones
Business impact of implemented solutions
