Key Responsibilities
1. Requirement Gathering & Elicitation
Conduct requirement elicitation through workshops, interviews, data analysis, and use case exploration.
Collaborate with stakeholders across business, product, and technical teams to consolidate needs.
Translate business needs into user stories, BRDs, FRDs, workflows, and data models.
2. Solution Design Collaboration
Participate in high-level solution design and estimation sessions.
Break down complex business needs into modular, user-centric functionalities.
Align with Product Owners and technical leads to define functional and non-functional requirements.
3. Functional Documentation & Modeling
Create comprehensive documentation including process flows, UML diagrams (use case, activity, sequence).
Work closely with developers and QA to ensure shared understanding of requirements.
4. Testing Support & Validation
Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
Validate developed functionalities against documented requirements.
Assist in creating release notes, test cases, and user guides when needed.
5. Operational Support & Analysis
Conduct ad-hoc data analysis using SQL or similar tools to support decision-making.
Assist in incident analysis and resolution when issues arise.
6. Business & Strategic Insight
Provide insights and documentation to support internal process improvements and client delivery.
Contribute to refining requirement gathering frameworks and BA best practices.
Promote data-driven decision-making within the product and delivery teams.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Fresher to 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, product, or consulting environments.
Strong knowledge of requirement gathering, documentation, and modeling techniques.
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucid chart, or similar.
Familiarity with SQL and data analysis concepts.
Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
