About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Business Analyst

with a strong background in the

Event Tech industry

.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, products, and platforms that enhance event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with stakeholders (clients, product owners, and tech teams) to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
Conduct requirement workshops, gap analysis, and feasibility studies specific to event technology solutions (e.g., event management platforms, ticketing, virtual/hybrid event tools, attendee engagement platforms).
Support product roadmap discussions and contribute insights from the event technology perspective.
Collaborate with QA teams to validate test cases and ensure deliverables meet business needs.
Prepare and deliver detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and recommend solutions.
Stay updated with event technology trends (AI in events, virtual reality, networking tools, analytics, event apps).

Mandatory Skills & Experience

4-6 years

of proven experience as a

Business Analyst

.

Minimum 2 years of experience in the Event Tech industry

(exposure to event management platforms, virtual event tools, or related event technology solutions).
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and product lifecycle management.
Proficiency in business process mapping, requirement gathering, documentation (BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical language.
Experience in preparing reports, dashboards, and using data analytics for decision-making.

Good-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of UX/UI concepts, wireframing tools (e.g., Balsamiq, Figma).
Familiarity with event data analytics, attendee engagement tracking, and event ROI measurement tools.
Experience working with cross-cultural teams in global event projects.
Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP/CCBA) or Agile/Scrum will be an added advantage.
