ROLE EXPECTATIONS


We are looking for a detail-oriented and outcome-driven Business Analyst to join RMgX. The role involves working closely with clients, product, design, and engineering teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirement gathering, process improvement, and stakeholder management, with the ability to operate across multiple projects in a dynamic digital product environment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business objectives, pain points, and requirements. Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements in the form of BRDs, PRDs, user stories, workflows, and functional specifications. Translate business needs into clear inputs for design and technical teams, ensuring shared understanding and feasibility. Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities in existing processes and propose scalable solutions. Support project teams through requirement walkthroughs, clarifications, and ongoing change management. Collaborate with Product Managers and Project Managers to ensure scope clarity, prioritization, and smooth execution. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives. Assist technical teams with API requirement definition, integration understanding, testing support, and documentation. Track requirement changes, dependencies, and risks, and communicate impacts clearly to stakeholders. Use tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, Miro, and similar platforms for documentation, tracking, and collaboration. Measure outcomes and success metrics to evaluate whether delivered solutions meet business goals.

Qualifications

QUALITIFICATIONS

Graduate in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in digital product, technology, or consulting environments. Proven experience working with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, QA, and leadership. Strong exposure to Agile, Scrum, or Kanban delivery models. Prior experience in digital product engineering or technology-led projects is preferred.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent requirement elicitation, documentation, and communication abilities. Good understanding of APIs, system integrations, and end-to-end workflows. Ability to balance business needs with technical feasibility and delivery constraints. Strong stakeholder management and expectation-setting skills. High attention to detail with an outcome-focused mindset. Proficiency in project and collaboration tools. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
