As part of the Global Sales Operations team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of models and systems to maximize the power of data and analytics enabling our performance improvement projects, vision, and strategy.

You'll work with business analysts in figuring out the best solutions for complex data needs. You will then build systems and solutions to extract and transform data from multiple sources to create integrated reporting tools and dashboards to drive decision making for teams all around the world!

Description

Our Business Analyst / Developer for Sales Operations must possess very strong quantitative and analytical abilities. In addition to maintenance and development of existing platforms, there will be the opportunity to develop new business software solutions with global impact. It is important to be able to work collaboratively with the wider team and meet important deadlines. Business-minded professionals with excellent written and verbal communication skills are valued.

Job Purpose

To work within the global Sales Operations team, reporting to the Senior Manager Global Sales Operations, with responsibility for the implementation, documentation, testing, audit, and maintenance of key business software systems.

The role will also include requirements gathering for new features, working with stakeholders and the applications development team to prioritize work and further develop a cloud software platform that will provide a world class experience to the end users in our Sales Organization in support of their sales activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new team, on a new platform, that will bridge gaps between existing legacy systems using a modern cloud toolset and provide a foundation for features that will excite our end users and bring them the benefits of an integrated and automated workflow experience.

• Development of software within the Power Platform/Azure/Windows environment
• Requirements gathering with end users and other stakeholders
• Working collaboratively with other team members
• Maintenance and development of the data integration architecture that handles storage, movement, and analysis of data from multiple systems, across a variety of data sources, critical for sales processes and reporting
• Problem-solve requests, model future-state proposals, and evaluate global work streams to provide support in best practices, automation and technology driven solutions
• Opportunity to specialize and develop skills in several platforms in use both today and in future in the organization.
• Run queries and analyze large sets of data to help answer business questions. Development of dashboards and other analytics.
• Play a key role in development of team approaches to software documentation and standard working practice

Qualifications

BA or BS in the fields of Science, Finance, or IT

• Working knowledge of SQL/Database design and development
• Power Apps development experience (experience in developing intuitive User Interface Designs)
• Working knowledge of software documentation practices
• Experience in supporting software platforms with medium-large user bases, prioritizing support requests
• Working knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Proactive work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced fluid and dynamic environment
• Ability to manage multiple work activities and to prioritize them according to the goals of the wider organization
• Flexible job schedule when business tasks, projects, and/or travel necessitates working across time zones

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Salesforce.com CRM
• Experience with Oracle, OBI
• Azure cloud experience
• Power Automate development experience
• Experience in working with software APIs (REST/SOAP/Other)
• Expert proficiency in relational database design and use of T-SQL (SQL Server)
• Experience with object-oriented programming and experience in writing applications within the .NET framework (VB.NET, C#)
• Experience working in large enterprise environments which used Agile project management
