Key Responsibilities
1. Requirement Analysis & Gap AssessmentConduct end-to-end requirement gathering across key modules -- CASA, Loans, Deposits, Payments, GL, and Customer Information.
Perform gap analysis between legacy CBS and Finacle features to identify required configurations, enhancements, or customizations.
Document business processes in BRDs, FSDs, and Process Mapping Documents (As-Is / To-Be).
Define business rules and validation logic for customer data, account migration, and transaction mapping.
2. Finacle Configuration & Functional SupportWork closely with Finacle implementation and parameterization teams to define product configurations and interest/charge setups.
Validate that business rules, product codes, GL mappings, and workflow logic align with target Finacle modules.
Assist in setting up Finacle-based reporting and compliance parameters (e.g., RBI return codes, product hierarchies).
Collaborate with vendor teams (Infosys, system integrators) to ensure smooth configuration handovers.
3. Regulatory & Compliance AlignmentTranslate RBI/BASEL III compliance, KYC/AML, CRILC, and ALM guidelines into system-level validations and control points within Finacle.
Ensure migration logic supports regulatory data lineage -- from Finacle Data Warehouse Regulatory Reporting systems.
Define compliance mappings for fields like customer type, PAN/Aadhaar, risk category, and NPA status.
Validate that regulatory reports (RBI returns, ALM, LCR/NSFR) remain consistent pre- and post-migration.
4. Data Migration & ReconciliationPartner with data teams to define source-to-target mapping, transformation rules, and cleansing logic.
Validate migrated data through trial conversions, mock runs, and UAT reconciliation.
Support automation of data validation scripts, balance verification, and exception handling.
Ensure migrated data adheres to Finacle's schema, product hierarchies, and control tables.
5. Testing & User AcceptanceDevelop detailed UAT test cases and scenarios covering business and compliance flows.
Execute UAT and regression testing for migrated accounts, products, and regulatory reports.
Validate Finacle outputs such as account statements, balance reports, interest calculations, and regulatory extracts.
Participate in issue triage and sign-off for go-live readiness.
6. Governance, Documentation & Change ManagementMaintain traceable documentation for every business rule, parameter setup, and regulatory mapping.
Conduct workshops with business users to validate Finacle configurations and train them on new processes.
Track open issues, risks, and dependencies through structured project governance dashboards.
Ensure audit readiness and alignment with internal/external regulatory expectations.
Job Requirement
Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Banking, Finance, Information Systems, or Engineering.
5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Core Banking / Finacle implementation or migration projects.
Strong understanding of:
o Finacle modules: CASA, Loans, Deposits, GL, Payments
o Regulatory compliance: RBI, BASEL III, AML/KYC, ALM, CRILC, NPA provisioning
o Data migration lifecycle and reconciliation processesProven experience in CBS-to-Finacle migration or major CBS upgrade engagements.
Excellent documentation skills (BRD, FSD, mapping sheets, test cases).
Preferred QualificationsExperience working with Finacle 10.x or above versions.
Familiarity with ADF/XBRL-based regulatory reporting systems.
Exposure to ETL/Data Warehouse platforms and data validation scripts.
Certification in CBAP / PMI-PBA / ACAMS / Six Sigma.
* Working knowledge of SQL, Excel macros, and BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau).
