1-3 years of experience working across operations, e-commerce or retail.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance
Good knowledge of Excel
Working knowledge of SQL queries and other analysis tools.
Experience in creating and tracking metrics and process SOPs
Superior verbal and written communications skills; particularly, the ability to deliver analysis in a clear and actionable format.
Proven ability to define effective and scalable processes and drive continuous improvement through root cause identification and measuring the success of those initiatives.

Amazon Food is looking for an Business analyst in the Merchant Experience domain who will be responsible for end to end management of all Merchant payments and tax compliance related activities. He/She will work closely with teams across Tax, Accounting, Finance, Product, Sales and Account management. He/she will be the single threaded owner to seller payments, tax compliance and reporting for Amazon Food and provide support in addressing merchant and internal team queries. As seller Payments and tax compliance specialist you will be the face of payments and disbursement reporting for Amazon Food. You will ensure that Amazon Food merchants get paid in full and in timely fashion. Your other duties include providing support to both Account Managers, Amazon Food Leads and Merchants to handle any payment related inquiries, and various other functions within the team.
You will:
Monitor and track seller payments
Issue monthly invoices to merchants for seller fee charged by Amazon to merchants
File monthly required tax compliance reports
Resolve merchant queries related to payments and fee invoicing
Resolve merchant queries related to tax compliance
Reconcile seller payments
Identify failed payments and resolve the same at earliest
Train and guide account managers on fee calculation and seller payments flow
Perform special projects or other duties as requested
