Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.Position: Business Analyst 3Experience: 5 years to 7 yearsJob Location: Chennai Tamil NaduKey Responsibilities: Writing user stories and developing acceptance criteria with the product owners Create a backlog of user stories/epics to be used for estimation Prepare and facilitate refinement/planning ceremonies for sprint iterations Be a constant source of product information and direction for the team Strive for continuous improvement within the team Requirements/ Skills: Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Experience working with BDD/Gherkin, writing detailed user stories and supporting acceptance criteria Strong problem-solving skills and ability to logically analyse complex requirements, data sets, processes, and systems Ability to clearly communicate those requirements to developers and business stakeholders Appreciation of how different systems interact with each other through mechanisms such as REST APIs, Message Queues Strong collaboration and facilitation skills, the ability to bring people together to work towards a shared goal Knowledge and experience of a wide range of best of breed Agile software development methods, UML or British Sky Broadcasting Ltd. Page 2 appropriate modelling skills Experience managing multiple stakeholders from all levels of the business Delivery experience within an Agile and/or web project would be beneficial Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experienceCore Responsibilities

• Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation, as necessary.
• Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
• Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
• Identifies and assesses probable interactions of related computer systems and predicts impact of a change in assigned system.
• May review proposals, including gathering facts, analyzing data and preparing project overview which compares alternatives in terms of cost, time, availability of equipment and personnel etc. Recommends course of action.
• Functions as a liaison between the client, community and internal IT and/or external software vendors to develop system solutions to processing systems or business problems.
• Ensures data quality and integrity across data-specific application implementations.
• Supports the testing team and business users in validating that the programs meet the requirements.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
