Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, current infrastructure, and migration goals.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements for cloud migration.
• Cloud Migration Planning

• Work closely with architects and engineers to define migration strategies for applications, databases, and workloads.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans for migration activities.
• GCP Expertise

• Understand GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, IAM, and networking components.
• Assist in mapping on-premise systems to equivalent GCP services.
• Process & Documentation

• Create detailed business process flows, migration roadmaps, and impact analysis reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
• Stakeholder Communication

• Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and vendors.
• Provide clear updates on migration progress, timelines, and issues.
• Testing & Validation

• Support UAT and post-migration validation to ensure business continuity.
• Identify gaps and recommend optimizations post-migration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in cloud migration projects (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud migration tools (e.g., Velostrata, CloudEndure, Migrate for Compute Engine).
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in Agile environments and use tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Visio.
• Understanding of security, compliance, and cost optimization in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• GCP certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Digital Leader, Associate Cloud Engineer, or Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of data migration strategies and ETL processes.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
