We are looking for a dynamic and result oriented Business development executive to join our team in the education sector. The candidate will be responsible for promoting MBA Entrance programs, building relationships with students and institutions, and achieving enrollment targets through effective counseling and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Marketing and Business Development for the assigned territory
To strengthen the company's reach in the assigned market
Implementation of marketing & promotional strategies for organizational promotion and development
To meet the branch revenue targets
To network with Institutions and key decision makers
To generate walk-ins within branch
Promote test prep products & services in the target market and generate revenue
To establish and maintain the company's presence in target markets, including top schools, colleges, tuition center's, other educational center's, associations, clubs, industry associations etc.
Build relations with various Student bodies including student Union etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA or PG in business/marketing preferred).
Proven track record in admissions counselling, sales or business development - preferably in the education/coaching sector. (0-2 years for freshers with potential, or 2-3 years experienced).
Excellent communication (verbal & written) skills in English (and local language if applicable).
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills - able to connect with students & parents empathetically.
Good negotiation, persuasion and closing abilities.
Comfortable using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and maintaining data.
Self-driven, target-oriented, with strong planning, organising and time-management skills.
Willingness to travel locally for seminars/events, outreach visits, or conduct webinars/online sessions.
A passion for education, helping students succeed, and an energetic personality.
Desirable:
Understanding of MBA entrance exams (CAT/MAT/XAT/SNAP/CMAT/GATE etc.).
Prior experience in educational counselling, student-enrolment or coaching market.
Experience organising seminars/events or digital-marketing & social media outreach.
