A

School Bus Driver

is responsible for transporting students safely and efficiently to and from school and school-related activities. The driver must follow all school policies, instructions from authorized staff, and ensure a safe, disciplined, and respectful environment on the bus.

Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Safety

Transport students safely to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular activities Follow all traffic laws, school transportation rules, and safety procedures Ensure students board and exit the bus safely at designated stops Monitor and manage student behavior to maintain discipline and safety Use safety equipment properly (seat belts, stop arms, warning lights)
Vehicle Operation & Maintenance

Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus Report mechanical issues, accidents, or safety concerns immediately Keep the bus clean, tidy, and in good working condition Park the bus only in designated areas after duty hours
Duties Assigned by School Staff

Follow and complete any additional duties assigned by authorized school staff or management Cooperate with teachers, transport coordinators, and administrators as required Perform assigned tasks responsibly and within school guidelines
Communication & Conduct

Communicate politely and respectfully with students, parents, and school staff Follow assigned routes and schedules strictly Report student misconduct, delays, or incidents to school authorities Maintain required logs, attendance records, and documentation accurately
Emergency Preparedness

Follow emergency procedures during accidents, breakdowns, or severe weather Assist students calmly and safely during emergencies Administer basic first aid if trained and instructed
Qualifications & Requirements

Valid driving license (as required by local transport authority) Clean driving record and background verification Knowledge of traffic rules and school transportation policies Ability to follow instructions and manage students responsibly Good communication and behavior management skills
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
